Support Victims of the Baja
California Fires in Ejido Morelos, Rosarito.
[paragraph extra=””]On the night of October 24th and into the morning of October 25th fierce Santa Ana winds blew and fanned the flames of fires throughout Baja California. In the community of Ejido Morelos, just 3 miles east of the iconic Rosarito Beach Hotel, 20 homes were completely destroyed, along with all the families possessions, and a man lost his life. kSitas was founded as a 501 (C)(3) Tax Exempt Organization to help the families rebuild their homes and help regain their lives. We have completed one home, and 2 others are under construction, but to complete these other homes we need your help. [/paragraph]

Home #1 – $7,500 for Asiel, Clementina and their 3 children
On October 25th fierce Santa Ana winds blew and fanned the flames of fires through the communities of Ejido Morelos, just 3 miles east of the iconic Rosarito Beach Hotel, and La Mision, a beautiful rural community 25 miles South of Downtown Rosarito. In Morelos there were 20 homes completely destroyed, and in La Mision it’s estimated 40+ homes burned to the ground, along with all the families possessions, leaving hundreds homeless. Aciel, who sells carnitas at the swap, not only lost his home and all of his families possessions, he lost all of his equipment to make and sell carnitas. With a wife and 3 children to support, one of which is Autistic, no family support and no way to make a living Asiel was desperate, and thankfully we were able to help him. Please help us fund this home rebuild. Once it’s completed, we will begin funding the next project. The original goal was $6,000 but this was the first home and we underestimated the costs. We have almost finished the home and all costs have been accounted for now, and the cost will be $7,500.$7,500.00 donated of $7,500.00 goal -
Home #2 – Funded by Baja Fire Victims – $5,500 for 89 year old Ambrosio and his Wife
The $5,500 for this project has been fully funded by BAJA FIRE VICTIMS, Ambrosio, who turns 90 on December 2nd, and his wife lived in a modest house in Morelos. Their home and all possessions were destroyed in the fire. Ambrosio is currently living on the front seat of a truck, parked next to his burnt done home. He said because he's missing one window in the truck it gets very cold and he needs to get up and walk around to warm up his feet. We would like to rebuild them a 15 feet x 15 feet metal framed house with one bedroom, a small kitchen and a bathroom, along with providing modest furnishings. We believe we can complete the project for $4,500 in about ten days. They have limited family support and no money to rebuild.
